So I’m a bit obsessed with botanical prints as of late. They are, however, ridiculously expensive. So I’m playing around with the idea of using water transfer slides to makeshift-decoupage them onto cheapish white platters and mount them on my walls. I’ve found some lovely vintage prints on A Daily Something, not of ferns, but of herbs. I think it might work.
If you are into the real thing, I’ve also stumbled across this fabulous tutorial from Centsational Girl teaching you how to flatten a fern between greaseproof paper sheets. I love how she framed them.
Awesome is a colour
