Fixing legging holes the lazy way

As mother to two toddlers I’m confronted with these on a weekly basis – leggings with holes on the knee. I’m too lazy to fix it the proper way, so I decided to turn it into a feature with felt. An alternative take on the leather elbow patch…

First thing is to gather the sides of the hole and bring it together.

Next, sew on your shape. Done in four minutes!

Best thing – the princess thinks it’s a new pair of leggings. It’s on an odd spot, so I really should add more hearts and make it into more of a feature, but that’s for another day.
